A new touch of glamour and elegance was added to Windhoek’s events calendar with the combination of high fashion and high tea. Held on Thursday the 8th of November at the Old State House Gardens, The Windhoek High Tea was the first of its kind and truly an exclusive landmark event hosted in Windhoek, Namibia.
The patron of The Windhoek High Tea is the First Lady of Namibia Madame Penehupifo Pohamba. Guests indulged in an elegant African garden setting. The High Tea High Fashion themed event also profiled the local fashion industry through a featured fashion extravaganza.
This year the event benefited: OEWONA, a charity dedicated to the empowerment of Widows / Widowers and Orphans of HIV and AIDS in Namibia.
This event would have not been made possible without our sponsors:
Guests made their pledges and donations via a silent auction and open pledges on stage. A whopping N$68,300 was pledged on the day.
